get_goal

Full detail for one goal by id, within the connected organization, hydrated from the graph: its dependencies (both directions), impact assessments, and effort estimates. Returns not_found if the id is not in this organization. The optional impactPhase argument selects which IMPACTS to return — “planning” (default, the plan) or “retrospective” (what actually happened); it does NOT affect effort, which always returns both its planned and actual aggregates. Those effort aggregates are multi-estimator, each {mean, sigma, count}; mean is a 0–1 numeric on the Fibonacci effort scale (S < M < L < XL < XXL; mapping via get_guidance), not a fraction of a maximum. effort.actual.mean is the goal’s real completed effort — the Ist-Aufwand for estimating a new goal from history — while effort.planned.mean and the search_goals effort field are the estimate. Dependency and impact lists are capped independently, each with its own note; impacts are ranked by absolute weighted average, so a truncated impact list keeps the highest-impact rows. Every response carries a hydration field ({dependencies, impacts, effort} each ok | partial | unavailable) — an empty list with status ok means none are recorded, but with status unavailable it means the graph could not be read, which is NOT evidence that none exist. completedAt is null unless a completion date is recorded for this goal — which is not evidence the goal is uncompleted, since a goal in reflect or done can legitimately carry no stamp. completedAtSource says how much to trust a value that is present: “stage_change” is a transition this app observed and is exact; “change_event” is derived from a recorded stage change and may be EARLY if the goal was reopened and completed again; “updated_at” is only the record’s last-modified time, an approximation and NOT a true completion date. goal.updatedAt is the concurrency token: pass it to update_goal as expectedUpdatedAt when writing back what you read. When coaching skills are available the response also carries coaching: { skills: [{ name, mode }], hint } — the Evident Flow skills for developing a goal; use them when the user wants to work on the goal (mode “local”: get_skill, mode “server”: run_skill). Read-only.
