update_goal

Change ONE goal in the connected organization: its stage, confidence (0–100), title, description, reflection and/or owner — only the fields you pass are written, as the connected user, and each change lands in the goal’s changelog. A stage-only change moves the goal to the end of the new stage’s column, like a board drag. ownerId is the user id of an org member (from get_org_context), or null to remove the owner; a new owner automatically follows the goal. When the stage changed, the result also carries qualityGate — the stage-gate status the board shows: { enabled: false } when the gate is off for this organization, { enabled: true, gated: false } for a stage it does not assess, else { enabled: true, gated: true, marker, pending } where marker is null (no marker) or { status: “gelb”|“rot”, notMet, evaluated } and pending means the latest changes are not assessed yet. The gate is display only: a red gate never blocks a move. For a read-modify-write, pass the updatedAt you read from get_goal as expectedUpdatedAt: if the goal changed since, nothing is written and the result is an error { error: “conflict”, currentUpdatedAt } — re-read with get_goal and retry deliberately rather than blindly. Other errors: { error: “not_found” } (no such goal in this organization), { error: “no_fields” } (nothing to change), { error: “invalid_title” } (blank after collapsing whitespace), { error: “invalid_field”, field: “ownerId”, reason } (not a member of this organization; nothing was written), { error: “graph_unavailable”, retryable: true } — a title or owner change is rolled back, but other fields sent with it may already be saved, so re-read with get_goal before retrying. On success returns the updated goal, including its new updatedAt. Only available on connections granted write access.
